An adult must accompany children to receive the family discount. The lifeguard on duty will determine if your child may swim in the deep end. Children not potty trained must wear a swim diaper. Children 8 years of age and younger must be accompanied by an adult in the water.
Dive-In Movie Nights (Approx. 2 hours)
Grab a towel and head to the pool for a Saturday night show on the “Big Screen”! Float in the water or sit poolside for family-themed movie nights. Doors open at 6:45 p.m. and all movies start at 7:00 p.m. Bring your own float.
One of the best things that anyone can do to enjoy the numerous water activities that Michigan has to offer is to participate in swimming and water safety training, such as swimming lessons and safety classes that will help prepare you to handle an aquatic emergency. Swimming lessons help children become comfortable, confident, and safe around the water along with maximizing your enjoyment!
The Mason Aquatic Center is pleased to offer swim lessons, which support the American Red Cross NEW Learn to Swim Program. Some of the objectives in the level classes have changed, but as always the focus is to promote learning in a safe environment. If you have previously attended lessons in the past, please register at the last level your child completed. If you are not sure which class to enroll your child, please do not hesitate to call our office at 676-6520 or 244-6416.
Mason Bullfrogs (Competitive swimming ages 8 - 18)
The Mason Bullfrogs is a great opportunity to improve your swimming skills in a fun competitive environment! As a member of the Bullfrogs, you will learn the value of dedication, teamwork, and sportsmanship that will prepare you for high school competitive swimming. If you have at least passed Level 4 of the American Red Cross Learn to Swim program or able to swim a full length of the pool, you could be a member of the Bullfrogs! Returning swimmers will join the group they were placed in prior to the end of the last session they attended. If you are interested in joining, but not sure of your skill level, please come to the first practice where you will be tested and placed in a class.
